Emily Montgomery Selected as CCCC Winter Homecoming Candidate

Cloud County Community College Winter 2014/2015 Homecoming activities will conclude Saturday, January 31, with basketball games and the crowning of the 2014/2015 Winter Homecoming King and Queen.

Emily Montgomery, a Elementary Education major from Holton, Kansas, and daughter of Brian and Nicole Montgomery, was announced as a candidate Monday, and College faculty, staff and students have been casting their votes to select the winners.

On Saturday, Thunderbird basketball hosts Colby Community College. The women's game is set to begin at 6 p.m. in Arley Bryant Gymnasium. The crowning of the 2015 CCCC Winter Homecoming King and Queen will take place at prior to the start of the men's game at 8 p.m.

In addition to the Homecoming crowning activities, the 2015 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will take place during halftime of the men's game. Those to be inducted are Julius Kiptoo Bor, Lorin Miller and Deana (Wilson) Ruud.

Cloud County Community College would like to extend an invitation to alumni and friends in the surrounding communities to attend the Winter 2015 Homecoming games crowning, and Hall of Fame Induction.
