Mariktza Smith, participates in CCCC commencement ceremony

Mariktza Smith, of Junction City, KS, graduated with an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from Cloud County Community College at the commencement ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2014.

More than 280 students at CCCC turned their tassels to the left and had their degrees conferred at commencement ceremonies in Harold M. Clark stadium in Concordia, Kansas. Kansas State Senator Elaine Bowers served as the official speaker for the ceremony.

Cloud County Community College offers a wide variety of courses towards completion of transfer and career degrees in four areas: Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science and Associate of General Studies.

Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is one of 26 public two-year community and technical colleges in Kansas and is coordinated by the Kansas Board of Regents. CCCC's service area encompasses a 12-county area primarily in north central Kansas with its two physical campuses in Concordia and Junction City.
