Tanner Bowles is cast member of CCCC fall musical

Tanner Bowles, a Freshman Physical Sci major at Cloud County Community College, is a cast member in the latest fall play. Tanner is originally from Cawker City, KS.

Produced in cooperation with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus will be the fall 2013 drama department production. The musical is based on the original story by Frank Baum, creator of the Wizard of Oz. Book & lyrics by R. Eugene Jackson; music by Carl Arlette.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus can be seen December 5-6 at Cook Theatre on the Cloud County Community College campus, 7:00 p.m. curtain. Tickets are $5 and CCCC students are admitted free of charge.

In the play, Santa and his elves, Wisk, Peter, Holly, and Kilter make and deliver toys. The cave-dwelling meanies, the Awful Awgas steal toys, but "the children and adults" help save Christmas.

Dr. Chris Krampe, vocal music director will lead the Great Society Singers chorus. Eileen Sutton is pianist for the closing performance. Wonda Phillips is costume chief, and Susan Sutton is director.
